What if you have taken multiple IELTS tests in the past 2 years?

Some candidates take the IELTS test a number of times over two years in order to get a higher score each time. If your IELTS certificate is valid, you can choose which one you want to use for higher education, career growth, or immigration. Imagine you have taken the test once last year and once more 3 months ago. Both results have not expired. However, last year you got an overall score of 6.5 while on your most recent test, you managed to get a 7 overall. Out of the two valid IELTS certificates, you can send out the one showing your higher overall score (7).
