IELTS Listening – Practice Test 1

IELTS Listening Part 1 features a conversation between two people set in an everyday social context. The conversation lasts approximately 4-5 minutes and covers a variety of topics related to daily life, such as travel, leisure activities, or personal experiences. Elise:

Absolutely! I spent eight weeks aboard a research vessel, traveling along the Antarctic Peninsula to document the region’s unique wildlife. From observing vast penguin colonies and majestic whales to capturing the beauty of the frozen landscape, it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Interviewer:

It sounds breathtaking! Were there any specific moments that stood out to you during your expedition?

Elise:
